← All setup guides
  1. Go to api.slack.com/apps → Create New App → From scratch. Name it Waqi, pick your workspace.
  2. Under OAuth & Permissions → Bot Token Scopes, add channels:history and chat:write.
  3. Click Install to Workspace and approve.
  4. Copy the Bot User OAuth Token (starts xoxb-) into Waqi dashboard → Connectors → Slack.

Every key you paste is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it's stored, is only ever decrypted for the moment of your own request, and is never visible again — to anyone, including your team's admins. How Waqi handles data →
