  1. In Shopify admin: Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps → Create an app. Name it Waqi.
  2. Under Configuration → Admin API scopes, tick read_orders (read-only).
  3. Click Install app, reveal the Admin API access token (starts shpat_) — shown once — and copy it.
  4. In Waqi dashboard → Connectors → Shopify: enter your shop subdomain (the part before .myshopify.com) and the token.

Every key you paste is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it's stored, is only ever decrypted for the moment of your own request, and is never visible again — to anyone, including your team's admins. How Waqi handles data →
