  1. Go to id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens → Create API token.
  2. Name it, set an expiry (up to 365 days — Atlassian now requires all new tokens to expire, so note the date, we'll need a fresh one before then), and copy the token — only shown once.
  3. Your domain is yourcompany.atlassian.net; the email is whichever Atlassian account owns the token.
