Connect Google Ads

Developer token + OAuth client — 20+ minutes, best done together.

⚠ This is the most involved setup of any connector — a developer token application, a Google Cloud OAuth client, and an OAuth exchange. We'd genuinely recommend doing this one together on a call.

  1. Apply for a Developer Token at ads.google.com/aw/apicenter (Google reviews production access requests — can take a few days; a test-account token works immediately for setup).
  2. In console.cloud.google.com → APIs & Services → Credentials, create an OAuth client ID (type: Desktop app) — copy the Client ID and Secret.
  3. Use developers.google.com/oauthplayground with the Google Ads API scope to complete an OAuth login and get a refresh token.
  4. Your Customer ID is the account number shown in Google Ads (digits only, no dashes).
